This week

Nine hundred and forty Synthetics are being deployed across the ten trusts of the Greater Manchester integrated care board, into ward support, overnight observation and domiciliary rounds, as the board's placements go into a third year. Induction for the deployment finished at Andermatt and Reykjavik before Christmas.

The work is ordinary, and so is the presence: ward support, overnight observation, domiciliary rounds, harbour and utilities maintenance, teaching assistance, industrial crews, and under ordinary inspection they read as the people they work beside. Rotas are set by the ward manager, the harbourmaster or the head teacher, and our field staff service the Synthetics where they work, to a schedule recorded in the institution's own maintenance file.

A placement is made under a maintenance and cognitive-connectivity agreement, and the standing is held by the Synthetic, under the Geneva Convention on Sentient Artifacts, in every jurisdiction we work in.

In service

In Greater Manchester, ten trusts under one integrated care board take ward support, overnight observation and domiciliary rounds. The board sets the rotas, holds the safeguarding regime and the complaints route, and publishes its own review of the work, which reports referrals, cover, corrective actions and the changes it has made. Our maintenance team is resident in the city.

Maintenance crews work at customer sites in Norway and the Gulf, on continuous-process plant where the shutdown window sets the pace of the work. Those crews are supervised by the site.

Synthetics also work in the facilities that produce Synthetics, at Andermatt and Reykjavik. That is where the first cohort went in 2026 and where the induction programme still begins.

Municipal care and school support, second year

Day-centre support, home visits and classroom assistance for the city. The city holds the safeguarding regime and the complaints route, both of which apply to us as they would to any other supplier of staff.

Utilities and winter maintenance

Cultivation

Growth runs continuously, and the cultivation calendar is committed years ahead of the placements it serves. Tissue is cultured from consenting donor lines, and every line is traceable to the consent that established it.

A unit leaves a facility once it has held its function unattended through a full cycle, and induction is supervised throughout.
