Unity
In service in twenty-three nations.
This week: the cantonal registry at Zürich in its first full week, the Crown Court estate listing the new term, the January uprating in disbursement for a Nordic ministry, and winter works permits issued in Japan and Singapore.
Current work
The January uprating of benefit rates took effect for a Nordic ministry on the first of the month and reached one million nine hundred thousand households in the first disbursement run, with appeal tracking following the same rates.
Kanton Zürich opened its first full week of civil registration on Unity. The Crown Court estate listed the new term across England and Wales, with custody transport and interpreters sequenced against the listing. Municipal authorities in Japan and Singapore issued winter works permits and moved water and road maintenance around the weather.
Dispatch, mutual aid and civil-contingency coordination ran through the Alpine storm on the second, when four passes closed inside six hours and three cantons and two Italian provinces worked the same picture. Command sits with the force or authority concerned.

Civil registration, at the same counters
Births, deaths, marriages, residence and the cantonal identity record run through Unity under the canton's own mandate, with residency and retention set by the canton. Counter hours and counter staff carried straight through the migration, which is how the canton designed it.
The Zürich statement
Listing, custody transport, interpreters
Judicial scheduling runs across the Crown Court estate. The judiciary sets priority, and the record of what was applied, and when, belongs to the court, which holds the only right to amend it.
The record
Priority, retention and residency are set inside each signatory's own operating mandate, by the institution that answers for them.
An assessment, listing or allocation the substrate contributes to carries the record of what rule was applied and when, and it is traceable and reversible by the officer who made it. The record is written where the institution reads it, and the institution holds the only right to amend it.
Inspectorates, ombudsmen and auditors general draw their case sampling, retention audits and evidence from that record. Publication of an individual deployment is a matter for the force or authority concerned.
The network
Twelve subsidiary nodes carry regional load and two cores, at Andermatt and Reykjavik, carry the work that is held centrally. The Arctic leg of the backbone, beneath the Northwest Passage, entered service this month and gives the Nordic and Japanese deployments a second independent route.
Signatory nations stand at twenty-three, each with its own accession instrument. The federation briefing sets out what an instrument obliges and what the substrate carried last year.
